Im looking for a Windows 8 Tablet

So here's a breef of happenings in the past few weeks:

Got my 920 (yesterday lol, waited for nearly 5 weeks!).
Microsoft announced that they will bring the Surface RT to Finland, and sales start at 14th of February.
So change in plans, ThinkPad 2 order was canceled and wait for the Surface begins. However I will be waiting for MWC announces and especially if
Nokia is bringing a Tablet into the market.

The Surface RT landed to Finland few days ago and yes I was one of those who got it, here is what I think about the device.

1st of all I want to say that for build quality the Surface RT is just amazing. When I first got it in my hand, I simply said "Wow this is what a product is supposed to feel like". The hardware by design is ment to be used on desk and thats where the touch cover shines, however if you dont have a desk you can flip the touch cover under the kickstand and it works as a table for you.
By hardware this is maybe the best tablet ever built on earth. But when something feels too good to be true it most likely is:

2nd aspect is the Windows RT and this is the only reason why I am returning this device to the store. The RT is a cool, pretty sleek and refreshing feel of Windows however there is no apps and what I mean by no apps is that there really is no more than maybe 500-1000 apps. Most apps that are in the store is pre-installed to begin with, the Store uses Swedish Kronor as the Currency and there seems to be no way to change it into Euros, I have searched the settings but I just cannot switch the currency of the Store.

All in all, I cant really complain on anything else but the apps, and thats just really sad. If Microsoft could actually get some buzz behind this RT this could be a real breakthrough and a very competitive device that could challenge the iPads and the Android armada. However not having nearly any apps and especially good ones is a deal breaker for me and convinces me to get a full Windows 8 device.

Thats my story of the Microsoft Surface RT.

I wouldn't go with an RT device at this point, in part because of the app situation but mostly because of the poor performance of RT and ARM processors. I've been using a vivo tab smart for a little over a week now and am quite happy with it. It is now sub-$500 on amazon, and atom performance with full windows 8 has been incredible. If you're interested in this one thing to keep in mind is the build quality. It's not bad, but not even close to the Surface or the IPad. There is noticeable creaking in the center and bottom edge-doesn't bother me and still feels nice in the hand, but it's my only complaint with the device.

I actually wouldn't get any of the Atom Windows 8 tablets. The GPU on the low power Intel processors just isn't enough in my opinion. Ideally, I'd rather see what the Vizio tablet offers, since it offers 1080 with the AMD.
