I installed im+ and added my Gtalk account so I could stay in contact with some android friends. I checked the option in settings to stay connected but every time I return to the start tiles im+ closes and disconnects my accounts. Anyway to fix this?

Not till they update it for Mango. For now it can only run under lock screen but not in background. So in short: not now, but should be an updated version which fixes this in a few weeks at most.

I am hoping for substantial improvements for this app. I was an early adopter who shelled out $10 for this but am continued to be plagued by lack of toast/push notifications, lag, and general freezing. Very disappointing so far

OK, thanks for the reply. I guess Mango's going to fix a lot of the little issues I have with WP7.
