Incorrect Date and time

Hi there,

this is my first post.

I have a couple of WPs Lumia 920 and Lumia 635

The 635 didn't have the auto update date and time feature before the Denim update, but now it does and it worked a few times. Today when I swapped my SIM back to it the date and time won't update. what is going on?

I thought that the Denim update would check the date and time from the internet which I have when starting the phone.

any ideas?

Turn off auto, set date and time manually, and then turn auto back on.

Not all sim cards will autoset date and time. It depends on the phone service provider.

but that's the point. there is no need for a sim card. Denim uses the internet like Android and iOS.
toggling the Auto update on and off doesn't result in an update.
What's the point in setting the date and time manually and then turning the auto function ON? The phone should simply update. It did it when I updated to Denim. I took the battery off the phone, this makes it lose its time immediately. But now it doesn't work anymore.
Can someone please try this on their phones and report?

Denim uses the internet like Android and iOS.

Trust me, it doesn't always work.

When I fly Moscow - Amsterdam - Edinburgh (or vice versa) my Russian SIM card doesn't autoupdate the date and time, my UK SIM card doesn't BUT my Dutch SIM card *does*.

Even having it connected to wifi makes no difference. And my phone is on denim too.
