Interesting Find on Hard Reset

A significant battery drain reared its ugly head over the past week, and uninstalling potential app culprits didn't really clear it up, so I figured I'd try a hard reset. I've done several (the most recent following the GDR2 update), and have had the long time spinning gears and multiple soft resets to finally get things to take. So on a hunch I performed a soft reset, then did the hard reset right after.

Spinning gears for three minutes, phone restarted, and everything seems good. Perhaps the soft reset clears out some junk that may interfere with the rebuilding of the OS. Can't say for certain, but I was prepared for the hassles, and it was the smoothest reset I've had. . .

YMMV,

I'm going to keep this note in mind if ever AT&T decides to release this update.
