Internet Explorer not playing videos

Hi all. I have noticed that a few sites on internet explorer (on my surface 2) have stopped playing videos that are embedded in websites. They used to just start like any other video when clicked on the play button but now it asks me if I want to run or save as instead of streaming. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?
