if anything, AMOLED is best suited for Glance

I typically like IPS better but just bc of Glance I prefer AMOLED. My 1020 died on me so I'm back on my 920. I have Glance off bc it kills my battery on my 920 and I miss it

The new ips displays, like on the 1520, are really nice. So yeah, ips.

I like them both for different reasons. The AMOLED on my 1020 is great for battery life and my heavy use of the Glance screen, but I also really like my 2520's ips for the sheer resolution/quality.

Overall I prefer IPS LCD over Amoled.
Yes Amoled have more deep blacks and battery efficient but the problem is that they have shorter lifespan and they burn-out.

I can't use glance screen on my 920 because it juices my battery :/
Anyhow that's fine. I love IPS lcd

if you're using IPS turn your glance setting to peek guys. don't use always on.

IPS. I have a Lumia 925 and I had a Lumia 920 before.. I much prefer the display on my 920. I liked the colors better and the viewing angles on my 925 aren't as good as they were on my 920.
