I got one of google's pricey orb wireless chargers for my nexus 4 because I liked the way it (in theory) keeps the phone tilted for easier use while it's charging.
Here's the unexpected turn of events: I hate using it with my nexus 4. It s-l-o-w-l-y slips down the charger until it's far enough down that it is no longer charging, but the screen stays on, so the net effect is it discharges faster than ever. If I press it down firmly it has a better chance of staying on it, but it's a crap shoot whether it still slides off or stays on. End result: I'm no longer bothering to use my nexus 4 with it.
But, my Lumia 920 works like a champ with it! Despite being a "heavy" phone it stays on it perfectly with no sliding, charges up quickly, and I love using it on it while it's charging because it does what I was hoping it would do: make the phone screen easier to see and use while it's charging because it's at a decent angle.
One note: I use my 920 "naked" so have no idea how well it would grip if you had any form of protective film or case on it.
