Is 640 XL LTE Dual Sim phone compatible with a Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 usb charger?

I've been trying to charge my 640 XL LTE DS phone (RM-1096) with a (good quality) 2.1A output usb charger, but get the error message that states the phone is charging slowly. A little googling highlights that many of the lumia phones are fussy about chargers, but also that the Qualcomm SnapDragon 400 processor is compatible with Qualcomm? Quick Charge? 2.0 technology. Does anyone know if such chargers are genuinely compatible with this phone ? In the UK the Motorola or HTC Quick Charge 2 chargers are not cheap (about ?25 or so), but if they are compatible they'd be a great improvement on the 750mA out put charger that the phone came with.

Your phone is not comparable with Quick Charge 2.
Furthermore if you use a 2.1 Amp charger the max your phone will use is 1.5 Amp.
And if you phone shows the message "slow charging" then indeed your phone is not "comparable" with the charger you use.
I would suggest to buy the Nokia AC-60 Nokia Universal Fast USB Charger - Overview - Microsoft - UK this charger will work.

Many thanks Harrie-S, I'd seen the Nokia AC-60 charger on a couple of websites earlier but had hoped the phone might accept an even faster charger. I might well get the Nokia charger and keep it in work for topping up. For anyone else reading this, especially if you also own a Tesco Hudl2 tablet, the phone charges fine with the Tesco Hudl2 charger I've got (that's rated as 2.0A output), though as Harrie-S notes it'll only be drawing 1.5A. But at least it accepts the charger!
