Is it safe to the Preview for Developers 8.1?

I want to register on Microsoft app studio but after looking over it it says that it may void my warranty. How can this happen and will there be many bugs if I do get preview for Dev 8.1?

You shouldn't have anything to worry about. What is sent out to people using this preview program is the same update sent out to carriers for certification.

Yeah! Nokia care doesn't seem to have a problem with it. One of my friends phone stopped booting up after Balck update Developer Preview but Nokia people repaired it within warranty.

if you have any issues with the update, i would just come here... someone usually has the answer to your question / issue. If you want to be safe wait a few days after the release to developers to see if there are any major known issues with it and your device... that way you avoid the hassle
