Is MS de-emphazising Healthvault?

Noticed that the rebranded MSN Heath & Fitness section does not sync your data with Healthvault but to MS's "new cloud store." Ditto the app in Windows Phone won't sync with Healthvault anymore

Anyone know the reason for the change? I know Google shuttered their version of Healthvault a while ago.

I noticed that, I don't know the reason. They talked about making faster the synchronization process.
They dropped other feature, I don't remember the name exactly, but I think It was called Strength Tracker.

It would be interesting to know the reason of the change and if they're closing Health Vault.

Good eyes that you noticed Strength Tracker being gone.

Hopefully the change from Healthvault to a "new cloud store" wasn't for security or legal reasons.

To be honest I would like to see only one hub for health and fitness data on w8/wp8. I don't get the reason why Bing H&F and Healthvault should live together. Take the fitbit integration for example, why fitbit must talk with Healthvault and then synced to H&F? It's redundant and confusing to me.

I hope MSN H&F will become Windows hub for fitness and health data gathered from wearables and other sources, just like health app in iOS.
