Hi people, well I've been playing around with me new phone today and have noticed in the extras + info section in settings that it says

Sim unlock 1005

Does this mean I have an unlocked phone?

Yep. My unlocked 920 has the same info

AWSOME! I got it on three but from the CPW I was told their handsets are all unlocked

Yeah, Carphone warehouse sell unlocked phones even when buying them on contract. Enjoy!

Not necessarily. Best way to know if your phone is unlocked is to put in a sim card from ANOTHER network.

Maybe, maybe not mine also says sim unlock 1005. But it is definitely locked to Vodafone, the only sim that will work in it is Vodafone!

same here SIM Unlock 1.0.0.5 on Three network directly, deffinately network locked

Yeah, it's definitely unlocked. My Rogers Lumia 920 says the exact same thing.
