Is the Surface Dial too expensive?

Simple question, available for pre-order now at $99, is the Surface Dial too expensive, or priced just right in your opinion?

For $99 my gut says this is priced just right, and a nice add on for those getting the Surface Studio. When you're already spending that much for the Studio, what's another $100?

Agreed. When the Arc Mouse is around US$40 and the Sculpt keyboard is US$80 or so, a tool like the Dial is probably priced about right at US$99.
