Is there on way to store my own media on the One?

So, my new Xbox One arrived today��

I haven't had much chance to mess with it yet (family outing - bad timing �&#56864, but I have a question;

Is there no way to store my own media on the device? Or to play it from an external drive or USB?

I believe currently no, other than playing it from a CD/DVD/Bluray, in which case it would technically be stored IN the console lol.

You can play your own media through your computer via PlayTo.

External drives and USB arnt supported yet, but it's coming.

There also third-party applications that you can use in your Xbox One's browser. Plex App is probably the best option at the moment.

For photos and game DVR videos, you can use skydrive.

Not sure how it works, but that was mentioned in tthe comments on a news item. I am currently gutted at the options so far, I sincerely hope that the other features are coming.
