I'm on 8.1 and my WhatsApp was very slow since yesterday. Loading and Resuming screen would take 15-25 seconds and eventually fail to open, not always though. I decided to reinstall it, now I cant even do that. Tried two WiFi and cellular data. It's stuck on Pending.

Forget what I said above...

Can you guys watch videos in WhatsApp? Every time I play any video it crashes exactly at 13-14 seconds (same video, always). I'm never able to watch beyond that point.

I remember that used to happen. It is very very annoying. But now it doesn't happen. Which version do you have? I have the beta one 2.17.30.

WA has a nasty habit of not correctly showing the folders/photos as per Photos, especially those on SD cards.
(Its not due to faulty SD cards, cos it happens to all four W10 phone I have. And other apps have to problem displaying the Photos folders)

Does anyone know how to change the message colours in the app? They don't change with the phone colour theme and they're always blue for me

WhatsApp messages color will be automatically change when u change phone theme colour. U can try by giving a restart. It is always good practice restart once in 2-3 days of working.

You need to close the app for colour changes to take effect.
