I posted a comment on one of the articles the other day suggesting that WPC's content might be getting too broad. I'd just read the main home page & found that less than a third of the 25 articles listed were actually related to Windows Phone. Of the responses I got, only two were remotely constructive & they seemed to enjoy all the additional articles. Given the limited response however I thought I'd put it out onto the general forum to see what everyone else thought.
My own thought is that I'm having to fight through lots of unrelated articles nowadays to get to the ones I want. It wasn't always like this. Perhaps the articles be channeled so that it's possible to select the ones you want. A google search of "wpcentral xbox" reveals the URL:
wpcentral.com/xbox-one
This page has just Xbox news. Would it not be possible to do the same for Windows Phone articles too?
I noticed someone else suggesting that the name of the website may now be inappropriate. They were in favour of the additional content, but had noticed that the content has somewhat broadened from the original focus.
I put this question out merely as a start for a healthy debate. I am a big fan of WPCentral & have been for a couple of years. :smile:
