Issue with 920 battery..

Kindly see the attached jpg..its showing the battery charging without being charged..also the battery is 100% all the time..tried hard resetting 3-4 times!

the phone doesn't have an Indian warranty..plus, going to them is a big headache here in India...
can I flash any other country's firmware and check? Will it help? Or will I brick it?
