it says update files are missing or have problems, Error code: (0x80073712) on lumia830

hi guys i own a lumia830 and i am currently running windows10 OS build 10586.107 and now there is a new update build 10586.218 available but when i try to update my phone it shows Error Code: (0x80073712) and says "some update files are missing or having problems". i have tried it few times but i get this error everytime and i also did soft reset as well as hard reset but i still get the same error. please help me and thanks in advance

How are you connecting to the internet? I had this issue on my 640XL a while back and I did a hard reset and then kept trying the update via wifi and then it worked.

I have had the same problem but i i used 4G and got it right. It is 70 MB in size, so it will not kill you data plan. But my 1020 did not like the update to .218 as it did noit unstall. The phone was getting to the spinning gears and then showing an unhappy emoticon on the screen and then rebooting and so on. Had to use recovery app with my pc to roll back b to 8.1
