I've had enough with my delayed SMS problems

I am pretty much throwing in the towel. I use an unlocked 920 and for some reason my phone won't receive text messages for an entire day, then the next day it works and they all come. A day later does it again. I have tried restart, wipe, removing apps, this is crazy. Anyone else seen an issue like this

What carrier do you have?

Sounds like a problem with your carrier and not your phone

I think it is also a carrier issue, something with the network notification.

I have been experiencing the exact same issue now for over a month. SMS goes out, but not in consistently. I have a Lumia 1020 on ATTs network. Have called into ATT every 3 days to ensure they conveniently don't drop the case. Have begun asking for credits each time I call now to pay for my trouble and will continue to do so until resolved. Have swapped SIM in other phones and problem follows the SIM. Have replaced the SIM and issue still happens. Typically, when SMS gets jammed up, they usually come in as bulk messages - usually at 5:09 am in the morning est or late in the evening. Issue seemed to happen around the time of Black update.
