Guys welcome Jay to the Moderator group. He needs access to the Mod pannel to continue developing his WPCentral app. He is working on adding the forums to the app. I just wanted to let you guys know so we can all stop talking bad about Jay he has access to these forums now... lol

He will keep the Developer title and wont actually be helping with the moderator duties. He clams he doesn't have time to deal with unrulies.

Literally only just saw this, thanks for the welcome!
We are making progress and I do intend to add mod capabilities to the app, it just depends on sorting out the login problems enough so that I can distinguish between mods and regular users.

I have almost all of the data modelling correctly now, just got to write all the user interaction code and come up with some kind of good looking User Interface.

You guys will be the first beta testers so I'll be welcoming as much feedback as I can get!

Yeah there will be mod options but I don't expect them in version 3 of the app (the 1.0 of forums). Honestly I'm working towards a late September deadline that is already going to be choking me, going to have to basically write in as much functionality as possible up to 2 weeks time then stop and just polish what's there...

After that I'll be fixing bugs no doubt, then there will be a version with mod capabilities. Although if there's one functionality you'd like to be able to do on the go shout it now and I'll see if I can get it in v3.

As for a beta, there will be a mods only beta very soon guys, it's just no where near ready yet!

Do what you can when you can. If I was requesting I would say moderators post edit is what I use most. Where the mods can edit any members post. Don't let that slow you down it will wait.
