A very unique Windows Phone App. 'I Am Doing OK' proactively monitors your well being and mitigates the severity of unforeseen life situations. This guardian angel app will receive push notifications during OK Notification Hours. If you fail to respond by the end of an OK Notification Hour a text message along with your location will be sent to people you've preselected from your Windows Phone contacts list.

I've been writing and publishing apps since September 2010 (yeah, remember WP7!). I am closing in on 800k downloads. I've had a few apps featured on WPCentral already and am grateful for the feedback the users provide.

You can see my apps by looking up "Lancelot Software"

Here is a list of some of my apps:
Video Diary - Featured on WPCentral ( I am almost done porting this to Universal with awesome video filters)
Latte Locator - Featured on WPCentral
Kiss Dictionary
Lockscreen Lens
(apps I hid from the store but will be re-releasing now that I am no longer working for Nokia)

I'm a hobbyist game developer. I have made unreleased games for Windows, Xbox 360 ( via XNA), OS X, Linux, and iOS. I particularly enjoy the Windows Phone OS , moreso than the other mobile platforms with its fluid stylings and Metro Interface. But I have never had the incentive to see through a project on Windows Phone until recently because of utter lack of support for UDK/Unreal Engine (I don't use Unity). Now that the issue has been (partially) resolved and Epic might allow Unreal Engine 4 for Windows Phone, I'm tempted to make something spectacular.

I'm very interested in talking to other developers and getting some ideas out as well as receiving critical feedback. And getting the chance to be featured on the front page of WPCentral sounds like a good reward as any!

I am a developer with five apps on the Store(4 WP, 1 W8) which are helpful for people who live in Greece.

My latest app for WP 8.1, "Athens Transit" includes itineraries of all transport means in Athens (buses, train, metro and tram) without using cellular data. It is available in Greek, English and French so it can be used not only by people who live there but by tourists who visit Athens as well.

As I have just graduated from University, it would be really beneficial for me to join the program. Apart from letting more people know my apps, it would be great to get "severe" feedback from other developers.

I've read some things from your forums for a while now but never joined. If you're making a developer-only forum, I would be interested in participating in it. I have a few WP8 apps (and a few Win 8 apps) in the store already. Most are free. I'm working on my first serious game at the moment... an internet multiplayer game. Won't say more than that until I have a beta ready to test. But this might be a useful place to get beta-testers, too ;)

I wrote a comic viewer app (Simple Comic Viewer) a while ago. It needs updating, but I have a completely new version in the pipeline.

My other big one is called MediCalc, a medical calculator app. There are always new calculators people ask me to add, but what I really need for it are better Spanish and French translations.

One of my best apps, but least popular due to the topic, is Molecule Studio. I wrote this from scratch using DirectX/C++ for the molecule rendering and C#/XAML for the menus.

(Can't post links due to my newbie status, but you can search for these by name, or using my dev name "L McPherson")

Hello,

I'm a .Net developer and an Indie Windows Phone developer.
I really love the platform and developing for it. I currently have only one app in the store, which is Feedsea, a straightforward Feedly client, but I have other projects in mind, I'm just getting Feedsea as polished as I can before releasing any other apps.

Here's the link to the app:
Feedsea | Windows Phone Apps+Games Store (United States)

Here's the official website:
Home - Feedsea

Thanks!

I have developed tens of app some of them was featured and reviewed on WPCentral already so I do know how good it is to be on your homepage. I have just published a new app, which is called Video Memories. Currently only two similar apps on the WP Store: Flippagram and Movie Maker, however they both have poor features (no-to-few transition effects, no text on photos, no-or-paid photo frames...). Video Memories provides users all the features for FREE including:
- 30+ transition effects
- 20+ frames
- 30+ fonts for texts
- 20+ filters
- Built-in Youtube uploader and sharing feature
....
I have a confidence to say that Video Memories is the most comprehensive Video Maker app for Windows Phone users.

More detail description of the app can be found below:

Want to make video slideshows from our photos and music? Video Memories is the most comprehensive video maker app for WP users. It provides 30+ transition effects, 20+ filters, 30+ fashionable fonts for subtitles, 20+ photo frames. Most importantly, the app is COMPLETELY FREE (no ads, no limitation).Main features include:

- 30+ transition effects, such as blending, fading, rotating, zooming...
- 20+ filters for image enhancement, such as antique, sepia, sketch...
- (Exclusive) 20+ photo frames for video themes, such as love, nature, birthday...
- (Exclusive) 30+ fashionable fonts for unlimited subtitles
- Resumable video encoding
- HD video quality
- Background music from phone, SD card, Xbox music
- Resumable Youtube uploading
- Sharing video on social network (Twitter, Facebook)
- Uploading video to cloud storage via Sharing Task (OneDrive, Dropbox...)

I want to be part of the program to both help fellow developers and to get help. I don't have any apps published publicly yet. I do have a few in the works. I primarily work with JavaScript using Cordova.

Hi there.

I have been interested in the platform since WP7 days.
I am well versed in Java and I am currently learning the ins and outs of C# as it applies to programming on MS platforms, such as Windows 8 and Windows Phone 8.0/8.1
I have a developer account and I have made a little app (just for myself) to assist me with timelapse photography calculations.
I am interested in making some games (via touch develop, already have an early alpha of a game on there) and other applications to fill any voids in the app catalog. My particular areas of interests are a music player and possibly a Flickr client (as I am big Flickr user and photographer).
I've attend on local workshop on app development/marketing which was co-hosted by Microsoft. So very eager to learn more and get the ball rolling.
Regards,
Christopher

Hello,

Robert Oschler here. You've been kind enough to feature my Windows Phone robotics projects twice on WPCentral (Nanabot Project).

My favorite Windows Phone app I created is called SideWords and it uses speech recognition & Text To Speech to play word guessing games with you. Just talk, no typing or swiping. I want to join the WPCentral developer program because WPCentral is awesome. 'Nuff said.

NOTE: I didn't post links to my apps or the WPCentral article on Nanabot because I don't have enough posts to post links in my posts.

I'm an 'experienced' Windows Phone 8.1 javascript developer, as experienced as you can be :)
I have a flight tracking app called find my plane which is available for both Windows and Windows Phone. It'd be great to be around fellow developers since I feel we don't get much attention on either SO or the MSDN forums. I even see questions on reddit.
And of course, I'd love to see my apps featured on WPCentral.

Nice project guys! I hope you get a lot of good devs!
So here why I want to apply...

First I'm from Europe and I guess it's best you guys have some devs from all over the world to get a broad picture :)
Secondly I'm a board member of the MADN usergroup ( focus on win and wp development ), so we try to follow the dev trends on the platform. ( not forgetting I'm a Microsoft MVP in Windows Client development )
But why I realy like to be added is because I like doing app development and helping other people but also trying to gain knowledge myself. Already have some apps on my github and all tips and tricks are on my blog.
Would also be awesome if my ConcertWall app would be tried, tested and maybe featured :)

Hi,
I'm a retired ex-developer who worked with MS server technology, but I can see all the action is now centered around mobile devices. I love what I'm learning about the WP8 platform and C#/XAML and I've started working on an educational app for children, that I'm hoping to publish later this year.
I can see from the size of the app store today, that I'll need all the visibility I can get to have a chance of success, so I'd jump at the chance for my work to appear on wpcentral.com

Hi, I have published one app in the store so far : MY ASEAN HOLIDAYS.
I am also in the midst of planning and developing some universal apps which I hope to publish soon.

It's great to have this community and developer program as it will allow us to collaborate, share experiences and get the visibility and growth for my apps. My app has been free and hopefully will continue to be but I would like to see more people using it and providing feedback to me :)

I would like to join this program because my apps have been reasonably popular and would love to discuss with others on how to make more successful apps.

Cheers.
