Jump on a 1020 or wait for Verizon version?

Well, it sounds like Verizon is getting jack and #%@^. 1520 does not interest me due to the size even if the camera is decent vs. the 1020, but at least AT&T getting the 1520 might mean the 1020 will drop in price a bit. Maybe $149 vs. $199 or something by the time December rolls around?

Well, I guess I'm waiting. The store near me was not supposed to be doing the free with two year contract thing. I showed up and they said "sorry we can't give out the deal anymore". Hour round trip drive for nothing

Yes, I tried to do that just last weekend after seeing the deal. I went to the one store that's near me and got the response I mentioned above. If they had been honoring the deal I'd already be gone from VZW for 3 1/2 days now.

edit: What really sucked is I'd seen a comment in that article that someone had gotten one on Friday at the store. The store said "yeah it's only supposed to be good at certain stores and we're not supposed to be one of them, we weren't supposed to be giving the deal out"

Not really sure why. I showed up, asked about it and got "I don't think we're supposed to be doing that, let me check" and they went and looked at something in their system and it told them no they weren't allowed to be giving the deal out. It's not their fault. If anything someone higher up is not communicating things properly to them.
