I'm not sure if i had this problem since the beginning, but recently I've been noticing that scrolling left and right on the homepage has immense stuttering. If I open settings, or an app, it becomes perfectly smooth. Go back to the home page and it's stuttery again. Anyone notice this?

"My Stuff" will stutter sometimes when I open it up, but once it is loaded it is fine. Haven't had any issue with it.

Trying turning the console into Power Saver mode (Settings - Power) and shutting it down. Doing that will be like putting your PC through a restart cycle. (When in Instant On mode, 'restarting' the console is actually more similar to a Suspend)

Hello,

XOne has memory issue with memory stacking up. For some reason one is not able to free that used memory and after a while the memory is fully used and console starts to lag. Before this is patched, the workaround is to cold boot the console.

Thanks for the confirmation, I've suspected this for a while now. We've had three occasions where my wife could not get voice command to turn things on in the morning. When she used the power button, the UI came up but TV connection was broken. Only thing that fixed it was powering down, disconnecting power, then plugging it back in and restarting. Not a good way to start the morning and my wife is ready to relegate X1 to the den, which really defeats the whole purpose of getting an X1. I've noticed the UI consistently lagging for a couple of days before this occurs, I will try to be more proactive and cold boot it more often. Hopefully there is a fix soon.

As I said earlier...the issue is that in "Instant On" mode the console never shuts down, just goes into a suspend...so their are apps that are left hanging and they error out. To solve those on a PC you just restart your tower...but that is not a simple option on the One, soto solve the issue just turn your console to "Power Saver".

Downside, it takes about 45 seconds to start up and you can't turn on with your voice. If you like those features (I do, a lot) just only cycle it through a Power Saver restart every ~10 days. I did it once about day 10 and haven't had any issues since.
