Latest DP Build: Unable to Backup SMS (Error: 80c805e2)

Hi guys,

I have been having this issue since WP8, when text message backup was added.

If I enable sms backup, I get error 80c805e2 when syncing my account (and unable to check mail for outlook nor messages are backed up).

Is there any update on this error? Been a while and still not fixed, even with altest DP build.

I want to buy new phone but need to backup SMS first since there are last few SMS from my father who then passed away, now I am stuck with this phone.

Tried changing mail data to bay-m, dub-m, 402, 130 (gave error 80072EE7), 408, m. hotmail, etc. always same error "not up to date" + that code and it reverts to 405.

Is there any way to delete main WP account and re-add it? Also deleted Skype as some suggested in other threads, rebooted phone, turned off email sync, deleted all old messages, etc. still can't backup SMS

Is it possible to backup SMS to PC or XML or any file?

See if using Transfer my data is an option. I'll try it out tomorrow and report back.

From WP to another WP? Sorry but it's not possible as I don't have another phone yet I'd buy if I 100% knew this would transfer messages to a new phone.
