Anyone tried this card on the Nokia 1520? Has the 95mbps speed. I've been having problems with my phone's SD Card reader, and I have a return pending. My phone doesn't properly read 3 different kinds of SD Cards. I have a cheap basic 8gb card that it won't read right off the bat. The 128gb Lexar it reads right away, but the phone loses connectivity in a few hours. Same problem with my Sandisk 64gb SD Card.

Are you formatting the cards in your computer or letting the phone format them?

I think class 10 or UHS-1 is preferred, but of course that is XC capacity cards. I never tried an HC card like a class 4 8GB would be.

I do remember reading that under 32GB should be formatted FAT32 and 32GB and up as exFAT for best Windows Phone compatibility.

I haven't formatted the cards on the pc before, could this be why my 1520 is having problems with 3 different cards? I don't think so though, because all 4 other 1520's I've owned before never had this problem.

No. If you've let the phone format them there should not be a problem.

I was just curious if maybe you had been formatting by hand and had inadvertently used a wrong format by mistake.

As RumoredNow says, you should format any size of card for your phone on your phone.

I didn't want to start a new thread since some good info was already in this one, but can someone with this card provide a long term update use review? I'm looking at getting this for a 1520 and the prices are good right now.

I have 3 of these cards 1 in my Surface pro 3 and 1 in my L950XL and 1 in my L1520 I find ALL are pretty slow... especially in my SP3. I don't know if its the device or the card but I'm not crazy about them... also make sure you get it from a reputable place as to not get a FAKE... there is soo many out there!

WOW! If it's slow in real life performance, then I will look at SanDisk instead. Yes, I prefer only retail packaged cards from reputable businesses. Thanks for sharing.
