List here what you DO NOT like on 8.1.

I have a Lumia 521 with the Dev. Preview. When I hit the volume rocker, while playing music, I get to see which song I'm on. Then when I hit the forward button, to switch to the next song, it lags, and I never get to see what the next song is. Windows Phone 8 didn't have such a lag, and I could switch the songs almost instantly. Small Gripe.

MS already announced that there will be an update to xbox music soon so hopefully that will take care of your issues.

Has anyone else noticed that holding your finger on the screen when writing a text or email no longer brings up the cursor so you can precisely select where you want the cursor?

There was some discussion earlier in the thread about that. I think you can still do it, they just changed how.

You have to drag the little circle under the cursor. It works better like that in my opinion.

Can't disable swipe left/right in wp8.1 version of ie11. Some sites are horizontally paged (Mashable, Jolidrive) and it's very easy to accidentally go back. Hugely frustrating

Actually Mashable is pretty much unviewable now

Yes, you are right about that. My apologies ;) I suppose they had to change it to be able to add Speed Dial to the Dialer app.

Touching the phone book under PHONE will take you to the CALL A CONTACT page. So the only way to edit contact is thru the PEOPLE link or HISTORY link.

Nothing major. These are very minor niggles. Overall, I like the new features.

1. Having to go to camera - lenses to get to the QR reader. I liked how pressing the search button and the eye icon brought up the QR reader. Again, nothing major.
2. There is no album art on Xbox music for the songs from my collection, but this may be fixed in the future.
3. In the photos hub, I liked how pictures were in the background wallpaper rather than a black background.

The fact that when I do a hard reset, I always manage to take a screenshot. I like the old way to D a screenshot better.

Agreed, actually. It might not be quite as fluid and quick and the old music hub, but functionality is much better. I think the biggest leap was to make it a separate app that wasn't built into the system, that way they could update it more frequently and more easily.

Slightly annoying that I can longer Share to Twitter from apps anymore.

It's already possible with the Twitter Beta. Unfortunately they took it down last night (some of us were lucky to get it) but that means the stable app should be updated relatively soon and you will regain the functionality.
