Local Scout vs. YPMobile vs Yelp vs. Others?

Which one do you prefer and why?

I know some may not like Local Scout because of their location, but how about those who are in big cities like I am... NYC? Which ones do you like and use? Why?

Scout works fine for me in Chicago. I haven't even considered trying any others.

Wondering if I should even download the others... haven't tried scout yet, but if they all do the same and since I'm in a big city, I probably don't have any reason to try another, more established app like Yelp.

When I think of Yelp, reviews of restaurants is about the only thing that comes to mind, by all the yelpers.

Yelp can locate stuff like doctors offices and mechanic shops, but I rarely use it for that.

I pretty much use Local Scout unless I want to rate something. Then I use Yelp!

Yelp for looking up reviews on restaurants and Local Scout for finding it.

local scout wont even list a restaurant that is up the street from me and has been for 20+ years.

yelp finds lots and lots of asian restaurant around me

i dont use anything else.

so, i use a combo of both.

Yeah, I get that too sometimes. It won't show some place/restaurant when I just passed by it or in front of it...

local scout works fine for me in cleveland

when i fire it up, it tells me dead hookers to the east, crack houses to the west, depression and desperation are south and failing economy and unemployment straight ahead.

but in all seriousness, it works rather well and i haven't felt the need to install or use any other service.
