Locks up after installing skype

After I installed Skype my phone has been wonky all weekend. All my e-mail service lock up and my text message app. It keeps locking when it sync to live and twitter. Reboots do not help. I finally uninstalled skype and had to remove and add my gmail account and everything works again. Everything worked fine on WP7.

Any experience anything like this? I will run without Skype for a while to verify that did fix it.

I can confirm this same problem on my 920. With Skype preview installed, email syncing can get into a never-ending loop and then opening the email apps just takes you back to the start screen. After uninstalling Skype preview and rebooting the phone, everything is ok.

Skype preview will hose your phone. Stay away from it.

That was my exact issue, but my text message app did it as well.

I have removed skype and it worked until the morning and now I cannot send emails, but receive works.

I am restoring from backup now.

Update, my phone was fine for awhile, but I still could not send e-mail. After a factory reset it was fine. My friend got like 6 emails that were waiting in my outbox after that.

I tweeted Ms on this and got a response.

@WinPhoneSupport We are currently looking into this but for the meantime, you will need to remove the app, let accounts sync & add back. ^EB

I have similar issue with Nokia 520. First had the issue after adding a new email account (gmail) which resolved when I deleted an account (work Lotus Notes a/c that wasn't working). Problem has reappeared after installing BBC iplayer app. :-(
