Long keypress?

Is there a way to modify things so that the long keypress is assigned to the CAP version of that letter? This was standard on the BB and a huge efficiency gain over having to use the shift key. Is this a question better suited for the Dev forum?

Is anyone working on customizable kb overlays?

Not at this time as far as modifing there may be devs working on a homebrew app for unlocked (Chevron7 or developer) devices
