I am attending a trade show next week and I have been designated to post our the company's Twitter and Instagram account throughout the event. I will need to use my phone to do this and my HTC 8X is having issues. It is running slow at times and specifically the camera is failing to launch about 75% of the time. This could be a problem and I want to represent myself and WP well.

Anyone has a VZW 928 or Icon that I could borrow for the week?

I am in Cincinnati, OH so I know most of you would have to ship it to me. Again long shot but I have to at least try; thanks!

Are you due for an upgrade yet? Any restraints like holding onto unlimited data? The Icon has been running free, pretty sure the Ativ has been really cheap, and even the M8 was only $99 at launch.

Gah. I switched to the Icon but still have my 928, I switch an AT&T sim between it and my 520. I haven't reset it though since it has MetroTalk installed (and still functional) and older versions of Creative Studio and Nokia Camera.

For that matter, have you tried resetting your 8X?

Try soft resetting it. That might fix the problem. I never had such problem in WP.

I did a hard reset and I am seeing better performance but still not perfect. My upgrade is in December. Long time to wait.
