From what I understand, MS built the Surface line because they wanted to ensure their vision of what a 2in1 should be was built (among other reasons I'm sure). Now, they are rumoured to be doing the same with a fabled Surface Phone with folding display that will essentially change the mobile device world by putting a PC in your hand, obsolete the tablet, etc. Does that opportunity exist for wearables?
Perhaps not yet as the technology isn't there to put a PC on your wrist but it will come. In the meantime, I would hope MS would be trying to be IN wearables with an OS that ensures I can have variety to choose from, compatibility with the phone of my choice and my desktop too. I'm thinking that they will be trying to be in as many wearable products as they can in the short term and not actually making them.
But, I'd love to be wrong 'cause I'm itching for a Band 3. :grin:
