Lost text messaging when upgrading to 10

I reset my 1520 hoping to improve performance, but now I lost text messaging. I do not see the app in the store, on my app list, nor do I receive texts.

Do I need to hard reset again, or can someone send me a link to the app in the store?

There are other messaging apps in the store, and of course messenger from FB, but I am talking about sms/mms.

Yes, the cellular settings are on.

Hmm..I wish more people would chime in. Thank you Donald, I noticed when I reinstalled from a back up, the tile looked screwed up. I unpinned it and with it went my text altogether. I thought I could just re-pin it. I did not have any text trouble when directly updating wp 10 builds...it was after I reset it.
