Low speaker volume?

It's quieter for me, but not by much. What I notice is that I tend to cover the speaker much easier than I did with my 928. A bit of a disappointment but at least it sounds louder through a headset than the 928.

It must be easy. Its a software issue with volume of notifications. How hard can that be? If they can't get the whole "independent volume and ring tone" thing down yet... At least replace the notification tones with louder volume ones. Its a quick update.

it was one of the first things I noticed. I thought it was just me that the sound seems loud at times and barely audible at others.

I noticed the same thing on my Icon. I even compared it to one on display at the local Microsoft Store "specialty store" and they were both equally quiet. I compared them to the 1520 right beside it, and the 1520 was much louder. It's not a huge problem, but hopefully they can up the volume a little bit with a software patch in the near future.
