Lumia 1020 from black to amber

Guys something really funny happened to me.... I was getting bad battery life on lumia 1020...I was on black... I wanted to install black firmware again...so I downloaded Nokia retail updater....I downloaded firware for me that was 1.4gb....then I flashed my fone. After phone was done...it was really funny instead of lumia black....it installed Amber for me...weird isn't it....

That is odd and it shouldn't do that if you had a proper update on your phone, not an installed ROM. Far as I know all 1020s have Black though.

Did you install Black again? Is it saying there's an update?

If not you can try using Sysapp Pusher as some of your system files are probably not up to date.

Ya its downloading black on the phone now....but its just weird...how it installed amber instead of black...I guess its the easiest way to install old firmware then
