Lumia 1020 Release in India

Guys i guess nokia lumia 1020 should be released by end of sep...as 925 just released, nokia wlnt want to hamper 925 sales...As my main fone is 808 pv and 2nd fone Note 2...iam really impressed with lumia 1020..will def wait for it ..coz its the best out there... :)...will spk to my dealer and get back to u guys...my cousin owns a mobile store...

According to that article the phone will be priced between 45k - 50k. If this is true then hardly anyone will buy it.
 
Well its known, Lumia 925 MRP is 38K , naturally 1020 will be 40K plus. I'm not sure if they will price it at launch 45K but that will be way too costly..

all phone have an MRP. The 38k price has no meaning. The price to consider is the sale price. On flipkart the 925 is available for 31k.

So please do not misrepresent information. The Lumia 925 can be purchased for 31-33.5k, NOT for 38k.
 
Yep didn't say l925 can be bought for 38k but its specially sold for 33k as part of new product launch. Who is to say they wont bring it to 38k.

Funnily enough, My Lumia 620 mrp is 15399₹ and i bought it for 15k launch day!

launch day prices are meant to be as close to MRP. After that, prices reduce. Price is revised upwards when there are factors such as exchange rate or increased import duty.
 
Lumia 1020 will be available in India in premium stores and few online retailers by October as the retailers in India are being skeptical to order volume of "Nokia" handsets at this stage[due to Microsoft - Nokia deal on progress]
Phablets are expected for Christmas 2013

I'd live dangerously and import it from abroad if it saves serious cash.
