Lumia 1030 hung every nigt after upgrade to WP 8.1

I have a Lumia 1030 and it has worked OK until I upgrade it to WP 8.1. After that the phone get hung nearly every night and sometimes during the day. I need to press start and volume down buttons in order to get it to start.
I have a Lumia 925 with WP 8.1 and it has not this problem.
Is it an app that cause this? Any other suggestion?

As suggested, you should do a factory reset as outlined in this Microsoft document.
