Lumia 520 restart problems .What is the real cause ?

Its been 5 months I have been using the Lumia 520 in India . I am always using 3g ( H+) . I have free space > 1 GB . I turn off phone 5 minutes everyday but still the phone restarts itself . The problem only occurs when I press the unlock screen button .Please tell me what is the cause of these restarts and the solution . I was a fan of lumia for so long now I feel like dumping it . Others please share your experiences with these restarts because I am sure you also must be having them in 520

I've never faced automatic restarts on my Lumia 520. I've had it for around four months. What you seem to be saying is instead of unlocking, your phone restarts when you press the power button. Is that right?

not everytime but yes most of the times especially when the phone is in pocket ...its really annoying and I need a solution for this problem ..its been happening after the amber update ...

I bought mine with amber already installed and it happens the same thing too. It's not anything with Wi-Fi or 3G usage, it's not anything with too many apps installed, it just reboots when in my pocket and sometimes turns off. Is it a battery problem? Any way to fix this? I'm really disappointed, the phone is brand new.

You might want to check your battery. A loose connection could cause this problem.

Didn't face any such issues in my four months of usage. Although a few restarts but that happed when i was low on storage.

Hi all,try and put a piece of paper in between the back cover and battery to make it more tightly gripped,see if this helps

Glad it worked,i also read it somewhere and previously used to do on Sony k700i
