Hi,
I'm new here, but I haven't found a similar thread, so I'm asking it here.
My lumia 620 screen suddenly stopped working after a software update. I was advised to do a hard reset, which made the touchscreen work again. But now I tried the update again, and had the same problem of the non-responsive touch screen. I would have done a hard reset, if it wasn't for the camera button suddenly being broken.
Is there any way to do a hard reset via my usb cable or something?
Thanks in advance
EDIT: I discovered a solution purely by accident.
I took out the battery, and then pushed the volume down button and kept pushing it while pushing the power button for a few seconds until i saw the nokia sign, then released the power button but not the volume button until the exclamation mark appeared. After that I let go of the volume down button, pressed the volume up button once, then the volume down button once, then the power button once and then the volume down button again.
Now the hard reset went fine and everything's back to normal again.
(I don't know how to close a thread, so I'm hoping for someone to do this for me. )
Grtz
