I have similar problem and have tried everything including changing the region to USA and USA language but to no prevail and the worst is none of the many dearlers of this product have a clue about it which certainly is not a promising image for Nokia and even more disturbing is i note that it might be available probably end of 2015 - can this really be true ???

From which country are you?
Did you see my before post with the link with settings and did you use them.?

There are cases that even with the proper settings Cortana will not appear but after a hard reset she will. Are you willing to do a hard reset.

Bye the way the mobile part of Nokia is bought by Microsoft.

Hello, today I got myself the 630 and everything seems nice except for one thing. Cortana is not listed in my apps menu and when I searched cortana settings I got onto them and I can't turn her on, because it says "Cortana isn't available in your region". So wtf, is cortana region specific and can someone tell me how to fix it?
