Lumia 640 XL - insider preview 10.0.14965 - audio cuts when screen switches off

Anyone seen an issue where the audio cuts off when the screen is switched off (as in screen saver kicks in). This affects both audio via the headphone jack and bluetooth. Reenabling the screen causes the audio to restart.

I tried resetting my phone when I first received this release and it started working again. However it has continued to update since resetting and I'm now back on 14965 and the problem has started again.

Any workaround?

could possible be a bug, report it on feedback app also build 14986 is the latest fast ring build so make sure you have that and check if the issue persists.

My phone says its on the latest release. Any idea if its even possible to download and push a more recent release? I did search for some sort of a tool to do this but didn't find anything.

I've just realised I had switched to slow ring after I reset my phone a month ago - precisely to avoid the release I now have as it messed up my audio playback. Its downloading 14977 now.

14977 didn't work either so I ended up resetting my phone.
