Lumia 720 - Indian Users

Lumia 720 is really nice piece of hardware but it's quite delicate. Once u drop it, this problem with keys starts. Until then everything is perfect.

this happened to my 1st 720 which i used to use caseless
get an amzer or capdase , itll work wonders for you
capdase recommended
my 2nd 720(red) is never caseless now
my 820 can be used without a case no issues

hi guys, a big hi from kerala, india...i am a nokia lumia 710 user. Been a nokia loyalist ever since u guys unrolled 1100.. totally love 710(even though u guys mercilessly dumped the windows 7.8 tango users). But the limited memmory has finally caught up to me. Looking for a phone with a decent front cam and expandble memmory. also would love to have regional font support, namely hindi, malayalam . would 720 fit my bill?

Lumia 820 do have a scratch resistant glass but not Gorilla Glass. 720 has Gorilla Glass.

anyway, my 720 shows "Malay" in the language additions list. does it mean Malayalam? i don't know anything about it.

Malay is spoken in Malaysia.

its not gorilla glass but its a very tough screen though and is scratch resistant
zero damage on mine despite lack of a cover and gorilla glass

After latest WP8.1 second update I am facing some problem like non responsive touch for few seconds, longer opening time for Nokia camera , password lock not working properly.
Does anyone facing these problems?

yeah sometimes , maybe the official cyan release will fix it
i also have the call drop issue anyone else have it?

yeah it happens to mine everyday on 8.1
i have to reboot for network even though it shows full coverage etc
does the same happen for you?

i am facing it since last monday, the day i ported to Vodafon from my 6-7 year old Idea.
i ported only for larger data limits (with almost similar billing plan), but now i feel stuck at least for 3 months by rules.

Bad camera quality.

My 720's camera is too noisy and pictured clicked by it are blackish not when clicked, but when we view them. It's running on WP 8.1.

My Lumia 720 Getting hanged every alternate day(twice today). Soft resetting has become a regular habit. Only 6 month old handset. Once a proud owner every day cursing myself for buying this irritating handset. Please offer me a solution

u check out, any beta app u have installed causing this problem.
have u updated to 8.1 DP? i am using 8.1 DP, and still it works smooth, u know.
check out which apps are running in background, they must be causing the disturbance.

Yeah I am also on 8.1DP, and frankly all these nuisance started after downloading 8.1 DP's 3rd update. And there is another possibility, the problem may be my 16 gb sd card, though I am not sure. At the end I am very much frustrated with my handset.
