Lumia 730 purple tint as well as flickers at the edge of the UI

I have the Nokia LUMIA 730 from the Nokia priority store INDIA.. and i have no issues of the purple tint whatsoever..
Also , the Store told me that NORTH INDIA has only been given 832 sets of lumia 730 to be distributed.
WHAT IS MICROSOFT THINKING??
.. SUCH AN AWESOME PHONE, SHOULD BE DISTRIBUTED LIKE HELL..
What are the prices guys?? I bought it for 14799 INR

Hi ,, Yesterday I bought Lumia 730

1) I noticed that when I launch "Lumia Help+Tips" ... While its staring.. screen is flickering(blinking) .. sometimes its opening normally.. most of the time screen flickers . Is it common in all lumia 730's so far? is it a s/w problem ? Can you please check it once in your device by launching "Lumia Help+Tips" ?
2)Just before some time... when I take photos.. few photos while clicking i saw the objects but the photos were just "Black" ... Please help me

There was news of purple tint in some Lumia 930, when it was launched. Microsoft answered a question about that: FAQ - FAQ - How do I remove the purple tint from my Lumia 930 display? - Microsoft - Philippines

Regarding the photos, just use the Files app to create a new folder and move the photos to the new folder. Your photos will stop being 'black'

Hello.
I am currently on a 625 and considering getting the 730. Almost all the reviews on flipkart and MS-IN are positive. What is your word dedracer? And, the issue you are saying doesn't sound like a deal breaker for me. Is it for you? I am using my 625 for a year now and it shows a black tint now and then on the bottom right corner. No biggie. Kindly tell your opinions on battery performance, display quality and camera, esp the new features like Rich Capture( I don't know if it is available on the 730 ) brought in by Denim!

I am also using lumia 625 and recently checked out 730 of my friend. It is great phone only negative point I found was not having show more tiles options and it is locked to 3 columns. This makes tile sizes small while fitting more tiles in it. If you are used to bigger 2 column tiles in your 625 this may seem odd as we would like to have option to change tile size to bigger one.

Yup, this is a big issue for me too, i like to use 2 column tiles and it should be given as option on 4.7inch phone as they used to give before. Don't know how they missed it. If 3 columns is no issue for you then it is great choice for you. I am not planning to switch , staying with 625 for now.

It seemed like it can be ignored when I bought it 3 days ago, but now it seems like it has increased. Purple tint is greatly visible in People hub. Did a video on it (with a Moto G. You can expect how the quality is, yeah? ).

Ok. I can confirm that this purple tint appears only if we use Dark Theme not the light theme. Temp sol until MS fixs this use Light theme

Why is your signature "Denim Firmware DP 8.1 GDR1"? Nokia Lumia 730 comes with official WP8.1 plus the Denim update it goes to WP8.1.1. It's not Developers Preview software, if that DP in your signature means that

really? I thought Lumia 730 & 830 came with official WP 8.1 with cyan too. It's ok.
