Lumia 820 memory query

Hello,
I was downloading a game on my phone and while it was getting installed I got a pop up stating phone memory low. So I went to storage check and noticed that the phone had 484 mb of space for settings o) occupied. I was surprised to see this. Does anyone else using 820 have come across this problem or, rather, case?

The game was around 28 mb.. but i did not install it once the pop up came.. what surprised me was the settings taking up almost 500 mb of space!

Ya it is one of the feature with wp8 in general. Games are in zip format once they are installed it take up that much space.

No, games or apps shouldn't take space from Settings section. There is something wrong in your phone.

please give a solution to this "problem" somebody! it would be great if this can be set right, now that wp 8.1 is just round the corner and it might require a particular amount of space to be installed and i dont want to uninstall my apps to clear space and then reinstall it again..

Ok so I had to do a hard reset :| now the phone settings aren't occupying much space!
