Lumia 920 Proximity Sensor Issue..

Hi, I recently bought Lumia 920 few months back which was working great until yesterday out of the blue the proximity sensor of the phone stopped working. The screen stays on when I am on call which is very annoying and many times due to this issue end button gets pressed unknowingly. I called up nokia service center in my region but they may take upto 2 weeks to resolve this matter, therefore was wondering if there is any fix for this issue that I could try before being phone-less for 2 to 3 weeks. Any help would be much appreciated.

You can always try to hard reset it, but that will remove all your data. They will probably do that if you send it to Nokia too, so you can always try it on your own first if you want :smile:

Thanks for the suggestion. I googled the issue and apparently this problem is caused due to having high sensitivity switched on all the time. So I switched it to normal and then did the hard reset, now its working perfectly fine.

I was having a ton of problems with my proximity sensor. I just replaced a cracked screen
I have nokia care suite.
I ran Product support tool for store 5.
Set phone in test mode.
ran the test and it showed the sensor was off. It shows covered / uncovered status.
ran the Calibration
Bam. Its fixed.

i have a problem with my proximity sensor
it was working perfectly for 2 months then broke down
then it worked good again (just crazy )

the first thing while calling the screen keeps light on
the automatic mode has gone and disappeared
the rotation didn't work
the glance has no response
i made a lot of soft reset and it works for a month then the issue came back again
i tried the hard reset also the same .

how i fix it pls
and can i replace only the sensor with a good one ?
and where can i find a new sensor or a good one ?
and what is the price of it ??

I had similar issue with L920. I was able to recalibrate the proximity sensor using Nokia Care Suite and since doing so all has been well with my 920.

Have you got the solution for your issue, I am having Lumia 730 and after phone update I am also facing the same issue for the last couple of days.
these are my problems:
