Lumia 920 won't charge wirelessly after Amber update

Mine will not charge through my Otterbox.

My wife's 1020 keeps beeping every few minutes on the wireless charger driving me nuts so she keeps her phone on vibrate pretty much all the time.


Now I flash my 920 (AT&T) with the GDR2 update and have the same problem. It keeps chiming every few minutes when on the wireless charger. I turned off the Glance screen and that helped tremendously. It now only chimes about every 30-60 minutes. Guess people don't need to sleep at night with this update. Why is there no way to turn off that stupid chime anyway without silencing the entire phone?

I love wireless charging, but GDR2/Amber seems to destroy that pretty good. Hopefully, an update to the update will fix this.

Hi,
I got the Amber update yesterday evening. Since I've installed it though, I haven't been able to charge my phone wirelessly. It's a little annoying, especially since I bought the charging plate last week. I don't think my plate is faulty for the aforementioned reason and also because the small light turns on when I lay my phone down on the plate.
However, even though the plate seems to detect the presence of the phone, the phone itself doesn't react, at all. I've tried everything short of a full reset, but nothing seems to work. I've noticed others having issues with wireless charging since the Amber update, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this same issue. I don't want to have to send my phone in for repairs, as I recently did it in order to finally get rid of the dust under the FFC and they kept my phone for three weeks and wiped all my data.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I could try?

Works great for me after the updates. Wireless charge plate still charging my phone.

Hey, just to add myself into this ring, my phone can't charge wirelessly since the Amber update.

GDR 3 didn't fix neither did a full wipe and reset of the phone.

I also have the curious case of it working when the phone is turned off and instantly stop working after the phone boots. Guess I can either flash the GB-Various rom onto my phone because I know that one works or just wait for Bittersweet.
