Lumia 925 hard reset after win 10 rollout

Hi All, Last summer fall I enrolled in the preview for developers in order to get to Denim so I would be ready for Win 10. Perhaps unrelated, but my bluetooth quit working after the update. I've been hoping the Win 10 update would fix it.

I'm curious if going back to pre denim might fix it.

Since it looks like I won't be getting Win 10 what would happen if I hard reset my phone. Some of my apps aren't in the store any longer. Would I lose them?

I guess the question I'm really asking is whether my phone backups contain my apps or if my backups only hold app lists that must be available in the Store to be reinstalled.

Hi;

If your apps aren't in the store any more; they're gone. As, by the way, would any data that your hadn't backed up (Curse you "Notes" app). On the upside; hard resetting down to 8.0 and then doing the official update to 8.1 ought to give you your bluetooth back - m'wife has a 925 and her bluetooth is just fine and that's the route we took with hers.
