Lumia 925 will not charge although icon showing it is

Hi. My phone will not charge, it is plugged in, the icon comes up to show its charging, however unplugged it and it has not charged at all! I have tried 2 different chargers, 2 different plug sockets and a soft reset. First time for any charging problems, generally very good battery life at 18 months old. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Batteries fail sometimes, sounds like maybe yours did, or there is damage inside.

Does it say the same battery percentage all the time? It could just be stuck and needs calibrating. Let the phone die out of battery then put it on charge. In the mean time try a soft reset too and see if that corrects it

Did you drop your phone? In this case maybe a flexfoil flipped out a connector.
If so and you are up to it check below video otherwise send it for repair.
