I have now updated both of my phones to the 8.1 GDR1 update.
The Lumia 928 received the "Black" upgrade as well.
Not seeing any issues in my daily usage of the Lumia 928. Will test what others have reported as time permits.
Samsung ATIV SE - no real improvement in the errors with 8.1 DP
Still getting the locked up screen and the random reboots (quite a bit) when accessing the camera.
I've retired my ATIV SE and am using my Lumia 928 until Samsung releases a firmware update. I was hopeful that GDR1 would correct some of the issues, but in my experience, it has not. Frozen screens and reboots from the camera do not allow for me to use it reliably.
If anyone has found a way to alleviate any of the issues with the ATIV SE - please let me know. Much appreciated.
