lumia 928 wp 8.1 upgrade to w10m ?

hey all
i recently got a new lumia device,the 928 soon to be disappointed ,again, for it's not upgrading
to w10m like is predecessor the 925 or even enough to cancel the vibrations
every time i touch the home buttons ver. 8.10.14219.341.
I came across with WP Internals

how gave me a little hope with their new tool.
has anyone tried it on a 928 ?

Thinking of doing this too. Can anyone confirm if the camera quality is on par with 8.1? 928 is the best phone ever released IMHO.

I wouldn't expect it to match the 8.1 quality but it'll probably be close enough. You can always go back however.

cant notice a difference in camera, but it gets really slow and unreliable

Even with the "production" Redstone build, (without the constant beta insider updates)?

yep, its just slow enough to put you off from using it for more than casual, single shots, you could say the image is a bit washed off and not as sharp or in focus as in 8.1, but you will probably stop caring after you get tired of waiting and seeing it fail

btw the biggest hit comes with video, you lose stereo high quality recording, bass filter and some dolby thing, video quality itself seems okey but audio is just awful compared to 8.1, or just same as any iphone or average droid

How unfortunate! I will not attempt this experiment then. Too bad - the 928 is such a great device. Icon is missing glance, which I love (I still curse the display selection by Nokia). But, I will have to slowly transition to it being my daily driver instead.
