Hello everyone,
the only reason for me to switch to L930 would be the camera quality. So I please you, to post some of your opinions, if the picture quality from L930 would be significantly better than the photo I can get from L920/925 now.

I know, that it is too early, because nobody has 930 now, but some of you already own the Icon or the 1520 wich have the same camera module.. so I ask everybody who has something to say and who can compare his L920/925 to L930, post your review here. Thanks alot.

Go for lumia 930 , reasons :- latest flagship phone in 9X series , faster processor with full hd screen. Better battery life and camera module is same as lumia icon , lumia 1520. You will get raw image support and rich recording support. Lumia 920/925 does not have a significant bump in camera (lumia 920 has 5 lens where as lumia 925 has 6 lens which results in more sharper images )

Of course.. on paper, everything seems better. When the L925 came out, the sixth lens should do a miracle to daylight photos and the reality after... L920 after black update is completely on par with L925, no matter how many lenses. So my question is, if the camera quality of L930 is really better, not on paper like 20mp vs. 8mp, but in real life, will I get much better photos or is this another marketing strategy :)

The 20mpx and 41mpc cameras can capture in raw format. That's not just something which looks better on paper. Also, they can take advantage of oversampling, which had been covered in depth before.

Lumia 930 itself has 6 lens. Its low light image might not be as good as 920. But It should outclass 925 in every department

My 920 died and was replaced by a 930. The low light images with the 930 simply suck. With the 920 I was used not to use the flash at all...

The 930 has a 2.4 aperture, so the low light images aren't as great as 920/925 since they have 2.0( allows more light compared to 2.4 aperture). However, the low light pictures aren't that bad they are on par with competing phones (S5, iPhone 5s). Since the 930 has a 20mp camera, it takes sharper pictures than the 920/925 and probably faster shot to shot time because of the much faster processor.

Yeah, picked up an Icon (Verizon version of the 930) last night, and compared to my 928, the camera in the Icon is terrible in very low light. Banding, noise, weird glow from the bottom. Absolute garbage. Meanwhile the same shot from the 928 will look like it was taken in daylight (by the glow of a .5 watt LED nightlight)

edit: plan to run a comparison tonight between the 928, Icon, and LG G3, fwiw. Need to find some sort of Android camera app allowing shutter speed control to really get an even basis with extreme conditions for the G3.

Though even in a dim room it was falling behind the 928 with both on basic camera on auto, fwiw.

Makes no sense, 925 is much better than 920 or even 930 at low light conditions.

But 930 it's much better in general. The 20MP makes great difference and pictures are more sharper.

Cyan noticeably improved the low light on their 20MP cameras. Its still not as good as the 1020/92X, but it isn't completely useless anymore.
