Lumia 930 Denim Thread

Last night (january 20th, 2015), Nokia Lumia 930 (T-Mobile Macedonia variant) got the Denim update. 4 of my friends confirmed today that they got it, here is a pictures i made from one of my friends Lumia 930 with Denim update. I am not sure if Lumia 930 on other 2 carriers got the Denim update (or any other Lumia device), but I'll check that these days.

These Lumia 930's of my friends were all on Cyan Firmware, so the got the whole firmware

There is no country variant listed for Ireland, only Vodafone and in the UK (which does have a CV listed), Denim has only been released for Vodafone also.

Im in Ireland and due to the above I flashed a Finland rom on my L930, works perfect.

I'm also TH, have you considered flashing a different ROM to get denim? I'm tempted but not sure what works with AT&T.

Does anyone know if the 930 Gold version has the same RM than the other colors or if it is the same RM number?

Also, anyone knows about a CV Firmware which have the Field Test option working? Dial the code ##3282# or ##3282 (That makes the phone lock between LTE only, HSPA only, EDGE only modes)

This is really confusing. Has anyone on Vodafone UK got Denim yet? I see people saying the CV GBIE matters and then I see others say that it doesn't matter. Also Vodafone (at least on Twitter) seem to be clueless and keep pointing me to unrelated information. So can someone tell me if they got Denim yet on Vodafone UK?

Any ideas why I do not get the update yet? I have registered my phone as a dev device via MSDN and my account as a developer. That is the only "abnormal" setup compared to other standard users. Do you think that this could be blocking the update or do I just have to be patient till it shows up? My wife on the 520 got it on Vodafone 2 days ago...

I bit the bullet and installed the French Country Variant firmware on my UK 930. Figured that since they got Denim so soon, future updates might come quicker too.

Once the language settings, speech and keyboard are changed to UK English it is exactly the same as a UK phone - Cortana works fine and the camera is amazing!

My 930 came from Amazon Fr so might just have to reflash the French firmware back on mine.

Yes I saw that...but then there are two entries in the UK...

So what does country variant actually mean?

Really frustrating how the Vodafone variant can get denim, yet the UK CV can't. How does that make sense. Microsoft really need to get to grips with these updates. I get that carriers slow updates down, but then there is no excuse for CV versions getting it later!

Still waiting, waiting and... waiting (930 CH CV).
I understand and agree they release it progressively, but why so slowly?! We are not anymore speaking of weeks, but of months! :angry:
They should propose to power users (such as everyone here in Windows Central ;-) a way to get it fast (like the developer preview versions).

The MS update page says that Denim is now available for CV GB/UK handsets, my handset is downloading an update now. Hope its Denim and about time if it is !
